This is a mob mentality where everything goes. No one is accountable for the same types of crimes that caused this protest.

In most places of a protest of any large size P01 Austin, a lot of them are paid protesters and often You will see them at other unrelated protest that actually have no insight into. They could care less about the issues. Many don't have jobs and are underachievers (that is putting it politely ) Anything for money. i have dealt with protesters before from a Law Enforcement position and found this to be true in many cases.

You are correct and they are diminishing the intent behind the true protestors. This is a prime example, police involved shooting that none of us know the facts, but somehow racism is involved in this when no one directly involved was white. This is where all these events make no sense to me.
The peaceful protestors are speaking out about oppression and racism, but the same race that is perceived to be oppressed is in fact causing the oppression. Here we have a resident of Charlotte dead from an interaction with Law Enforcement (facts of which we don't know), but to protest against that we have citizens of Charlotte loosing jobs (businesses looted), property rates dropping (happens when an area is deemed crime prone), higher insurance premiums (happens when damage claims are placed), and the list goes on.
In the end, a larger portion of the oppressed are being oppressed by their own race than any other.

TSgt Frank Shirley - That is true. Here in SoCal, it doesn't matter what the protest is. They can be protesting to plant Rose bushes in the freeway medians and you can guarantee that the Anarchist's, the Labor Unions and the Pro-Illegal Immigrant folks will be there, among others.

So, TSgt Frank Shirley you have already proclaimed the Charlotte shooting a murder by the police. Good thing we don't have to wait on the investigation and if necessary a trial now. You have concluded murder before the investigation is done. YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM (to steal from your all caps style).

Cpl Jeff N. - somehow, it has become racist to wait for the facts, even if a black cop shoots a black man. The media and our 'leaders' are the worst offernders.

TSgt Frank Shirley Frank the definition of murder is "The unlawful killing of another human being without justification or excuse". That will be determined if and when this shooting goes to trial. Based upon the evidence it may or may not. You are simply throwing around baseless allegations because you are ignorant of the law and of the legal process. You want to convict the cop of murder before the evidence is in. You are part of the problem in this country today.

If there is a bad shooting then the cop should be properly charged. Right now we have something called an investigation going on. You should work on educating yourself on the process. It isn't that hard. That device you are entering your comments into can also serve to educate you a bit.

TSgt Frank Shirley You are calling it murder out of an emotional reaction not out of a FAIR review of a determined set of facts. You want to call it that to help whip the crowds into a frenzy, nothing more. You have become a part or the massive problem in this country of rushes to judgment and emotional outburst rather than thoughtful review of actual information. You are the quintessential "low information voter". Congratulations!
