1917’s Two-Hour “Long Take” Isn’t Just a Gimmick

I will be sure to catch this. I have been watching the fascinating series of videos on You Tube about WWI that have been filmed at the National World War One Museum and Memorial in Kansas City. There are dozens of them, presented by historians who are specialists in WWI and associated topics. So many of the roots of today's problems lie in the unjust peace concluded after WWI.

If you are a fan of single shot movies, movies taken in one or very few very long takes, watch the German crime film Victoria. It's probably 4-5 years old now. It's about a Spanish girl and four German street wanna-be tough guys, their common language is broken English, so there are no subtitles. It's a great film.
