I don't think Trump thought this one thoroughly. If Trump thought those of us who come back with hidden damage to ourselves in our minds, are weak, why not have your sons enlist and deploy. When they come home, what would daddy say then?

I heard the entire Trump speech. I usually find that facts have a way of granting greater clarity on a subject. Trump's speech was heartfelt and honest and was a respectful compliment to those who have been to war, and a call for immediate help for those with PTSD. I don't see anything resembling what VPOTUS claims to have been said. Perhaps he was only given an edited soundbite?

Nothing but the normal twisting of what was said. Out of context interpretations of what Trump said. Even the Marine that asked the question said all this uproar is manufactured the concern and thoughtfulness expressed by Trump. It's a shame how the Dems use us as political pawns by a charade such as this.

Master Chief, the Dems using us as pawns? You saw the "fundraiser" he had earlier this year "for the vets" that routed the money donated to the Trump Foundation that is under investigation now. He used us then for the GOP the same way we are used by the dems. That Marine who doesn't see the point of the uproar, might not have deployed, been in harms way, wound up with PTSD, or he did deploy and do all that and he wasn't effected or effected yet. PTSD doesn't always grab hold on the spot.

SSG Warren Swan - We just have to disagree on this one. General Boykin said there wasn't a single vet that took his statement in the way the plethora of anti-Trumpers are portraying it. Bill's letter to a COL. Expressing his loathing for the military, Hillary's landing under fire and her purported attempts to join the Marines, the decimation of the military by Clinton that resulted in many losses immediately after 9/11. Nope, not buying it.
