What can I say, I'm a Gen Xer and find swearing at work unprofessional. I can see it privately between 2 people, but when people do it openly in front of customers I find it rude and offensive.

SrA Chris "Shadow" McGee I agree there is a certain time and place for it. And I try to curb it around individuals that might be uncomfortable with it, but it can be stress relieving.

SPC Britanny *Winnie* Balthaser - It took me a long time to quit doing it after leaving the military....it was perfectly normal to me there lol But once i got it curbed I realized how I felt about it in the civilian world and try hard not to do it.

I guess not a lot are aware of the stressors that our work can put on us and how we have to deal with those who are insubordinate, stubborn or flat out lazy.

Back in the day, while being a DI, I seem to recall that the DIs were the most proficient at using swear words. I am glad that this milgen has taken up the mantle!
