No; as in the most number 1 best safety measure possible. The reflective PT belt. Responsible alone for decreasing deaths of pedestrians during PT hours from 1 the last century to zero this century so far. But we also invented headlights and glasses during that time so there's that.

Rank on the "cammie-call it what ever you want" should be subdued, period.
Rank on the dress uniforms can be decorative/shiny/whatever gold.

Cammies are for work/dress is for show.

I've always had uniform envy in the first place, and I'm not affected, but these all look like decent changes to me. The Sam Browne is a nice touch. My biggest peeve about USMC uniforms and customs is the First Sergeant, Gunnery Sergeant issue. If I can't tell what rank you are at 10 meters away because you are wearing subdued rank and I call you by the wrong title, you'd better not get a case of the ass. If the USMC fixed that, hell...I might even be happy to say the Corps is almost as capable as the US Army in protracted combat.

the sam browne belt is actually a classic belt worn by officers when they were actually issued personal swords for combat so i think it brings back tradition, and i agree with the 10 meters, i usually end up saying good morning master gunnery sgt sgt major lol.

LTC Paul Labrador It is currently an optional uniform item. This is to make it mandatory.
