I'm fine with this, actually. The very purpose of the 3-branch government is to keep any one branch in check. (I know you know this). So I'm fine with the Senate keeping Trump real.

The problem is or may be that Trump upset a lot of apple carts in the GOP establishment. He snarked his way into the presidency and he doesn't have the same goals.

He DOES (hopefully) have the goals of the people who voted for him. Reel all this triple-damned globalism, make good jobs for American workers and stop the WTF immigration policies of George Soros.

All this will lead to is a stalemate in which nothing gets done. Who wins? Nobody. Who Loses? Us.

Giuliani is a worthless has been, that should never have been. I can support Rand on that. I have quite a few friends who are repubs, and they tell me that "this will be the best administration since Regan". Then they get full of themselves when they read off the names of folks he's got possibly slotted for cabinet positions. At that point I ask "how long is this marriage going to last"? ***crickets**** Trump is taking every single person he stomped on and giving them positions in the cabinet. Cruz, Romney, Christie (opps my bad) two men who really got the short end of the Trump stick. It's good to keep your friends close, and your friendemies closer. GEN Mattis would be a blessing as SECDEF, but he's a Soldiers Solder, a Marines, Marine. Doesn't play the fuck fuck games, and won't play into politics at the expense of his men and women. So if he won't do that, he's going to be in that job a relatively short amount of time. I seriously think this cabinet will feel the same amount of folks quitting like Obamas cabinet from his first term. Van was gone QUICK!!
