Okay, come on give me a break here. We all know Trump historical goes off on wild tangents, expect it will occur in the future but much less so than during the debates. Semper Fi.

Cpl Craig Marton - Not at all. I acknowledge that he has passion, but he is still emotionally weak. He doesn't have impatience, he has a deep-seated need for approval.

You do realize that, by definition, RallyPoint is a "safe space", right?

SSG Jessica Bautista - I'd have argue he has both. When he doesn't get the approval he so thoroughly believe he deserves he explodes with impatience. He is appealing to the ignorant and uninformed because he's actually delusional enough to believe he can do all he promised. Once elected he began walking everything back as it suited his needs to have his ego stroked. I can hardly wait to see what happens when he realizes how little power he's got. At the same time I don't, but it's like a train wreck. He thinks since the Republicans have the trifecta that everything's going to be easy least. He forgets how he alienated and berated so many in his party, and the party itself. It no longer serves his purpose so he forgot. Do you think the Republicans forgot? Hell no, the're going to play him like a fiddle to their own ends and there won't be a damn thing he can do about it. Then we'll see the needy child AND the impatience.

You might be confused by Trump acting on a TV show in a way designed to boost ratings. Behind the scenes though in business he is a methodical high energy program manager.

The author fails to understand that Tweets are not policy statements, they are not indicators of future actions, and they don't necessarily stand for a persons actual feelings and beliefs. President elect Trump uses Twitter as a tool or weapon against the militant, politically correct, ideologues (like this author) who have set themselves against him. When one of them calls him a name or makes false statements about him, he has learned that it doesn't do any good to respond logically (and often it can't even be done using 140 characters). What he does is respond with the same style of rhetoric, they used against him and even ramps it up. He has learned the same lesson that Bill Clinton learned long ago i.e. don’t apologize, don’t resign the field, and always fight back.

Honestly, I believe all the salient points made in the Slate article. I am certainly no fan on Donald Trump. I believe he has the emotional stability of a 15 year old post-pubescent teenager and the intellectual curiosity of a PetSmart goldfish. That’s the bad news.

The good news is Hillary Clinton lost. Regardless of what I think of Trump and his tendency to use Twitter as if it was some kind of 21st century Federalist Papers, I don’t think he would ever sit down “Between Two Ferns” with Zach Galifinakis. Nor do I believe he would give a YouTube interview video with a young lady named “GloZell” who enjoys taking tub baths in milk and Fruit Loops as our current POTUS has done.

I do think Trump realizes that he does bloviate and bullshit far too much for an individual in such a high office and that behavior will be toned down a bit. I do hope and believe Trump will start focusing on the important matters this country faces and will put enough smart and accomplished people in Cabinet positions that will eventually sail us into smoother waters.

As far as Slate is concerned, the statement “… and gives US models to deal with it.” Who is “US” and what specifically what are they suggesting? How are they going to “…deal with it.” Are they promoting some kind of neutering or overthrow of the government? Will they continue to promote the premise of “white privilege?” Will they continue to demonize half the population of the United States as being a NAZI or white supremacist? Slate is a radically left website whose sole purpose is to promote the proletariat centered socialist state.

If you see any freight trains loaded with people headed off to concentration or reeducation camps please let me know. If you see anyone who is LGBT being hanged in the street for being who they are give me a call. If you happen to notice an inordinate amount of people of color in the fields picking cotton please send me an email. If you see any of that going on I will gladly pick up arms and fight the so called “alt-right” tyrannical government. If anyone actually thinks horrendous things will start occurring on January 21, 2017 I would humbly suggest doubling their dosage of Haldol.
