Everyone has an opinion during election time. General Mattis knows what he's doing. I'm sure he looked at all of the pros and cons before meeting with Trump. He didn't get his reputation and become a General doing stupid things, or being stupid. You can decide after you read the article.

Despite Erin Simpson's editorial opinion, I think you can and should run the Pentagon like a Marine Division, or to put it more generically, like the MILITARY ORGANIZATION it is. I'm tired of the DoD being run like an investment bank, a sociological test bed, an international police force, an emergency services department, and my absolute favorite...a liberal university.

SPC Britanny *Winnie* Balthaser, I know. I don't agree with this article at all. He won't give a hoot if anyone doesn't want him there. He will do a better job than anyone I can think of. Someone always has to see things as a problem, when they can't think of anything else to complain about.

If he gets the job, he will be far, far, ahead of anyone that's had that job in years. He will excel as our Secretary of Defense. IMHO
