Giving a student an F will not give him PTSD and make him live on Skid row with a heroin habit. Some progressives think otherwise. Some of you say this also happens in the USA. Very sad.

Again kids need to understand there are winners and losers in life and nothing is free. People need to quit coddling kids and prep them for real life..

No worked turn in equals no grade awarded. I attempted to build a work ethic into my classroom. Students that only produce CO2 and feed my plants get zeros.

My wife teaches third grade. The district's policy is that no one can get lower than a 60. If you don't answer a single question on a test, it's at least a 60. I realize that this is still an F, but it lessens the consequences of your actions.

Your wife should fun for school board and fix that idiocy. You get what you earn, if you don't realize that until you become an adult, then life will be very hard for you. These schools are doing these kids a disservice. This sort of garbage needs to end.
