SPC Kevin Ford Gotta love the good old DB. Mattis I think would have too much respect for tradition to pull some dumb shit like that. Now if they said that SECNAV on his way out was going to annex the army to become the land marines, it would be plausible. That soup sandwich could fuck up a wet dream.

It is a great piece because it lampoons all the services equally, including the Marines. Well except apparently the Coast Gaurd.

SPC Kevin Ford - DB is a great source of comedy gold. They usually do a good job of three things 1) they spare nobody. All services, all ranks, all genders are equally open to destruction. 2) They are well thought out satire pieces, to a point where the sometimes blur the line between plausibility and reality. 3) They are equal parts thought provoking and hysterically funny.
Just hope nobody starts quoting it as news. I know that has happened with the onion before.

SN Greg Wright - You don't like the idea of the Navy Plus? That is one of those "wouldn't put it past this jackass" moments. Also why I said if they had said SECNAV was planning this as opposed to Mattis it would have given real pause to think.
