For those of you that read Politico, this is the kind of people they employ and how they view those that are not just like them ideologically. She has been let go for the tweet but that brain rot festers in organizations such as Politico.

Not to worry though, she has been picked up by the Atlantic. No job search required, plenty of homes in the media for these sorts of people.

In a post I read yesterday she was already leaving Politico to go to the Atlantic. Politico said they was going to "hurry up" her departure. The headline is not quite true, I'm guessing Politico wants to look like they fired her to maintain some type of reputation, that they don't have anyways.

In all likelihood, the tweet by Julia Ioffe was an example of how she talks and thinks in her day to day life. However, I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt that as a good social justice warrior, the tweet was an exaggerated attempt at gaining status among her social justice warrior friends and never a real belief on her part.

You are far more generous than I. I think she said exactly what she meant. She hates Trump, his kids, his wife, his ancestors etc. It is the media group think of the left. They can think and postulate anything they want and they will keep their job or get another in their medial elite circles.

She will be viewed as heroic for saying what they all talk about and their white wine sipping events.
