Time for some humor, and get away from those awful posers for a while. I watched this and it's pretty funny. It was a little rougher than it demonstrates in 1965, but it's close enough for government work. I don't know how it is today, but I hope it's not like the video shows.
Okay, so we’ve all heard stories of how brutal it was to go through basic training and basic army life back in the day. Teaching discipline is crucial since a lot of recruits come from different backgrounds and may not have had that type of life experiences. But now we hear stories of soldiers having stress cards, and just being overall more easy on recruits.

Seen the video a couple of times just to watch. The DI has not changed the service has change to a softer side. I will say this Marine di has not changed they are still 100 percent in your grille and don't let up. My niece just graduated Paris Island. I loved her DI or DI's they did not give a inch. I have a fellow soldier who now is a di in the Army a little more laid back then when I went through in 99

I know a Guy in Group who was "Yellow Carded" out of 3 consecutive Classes at Ft Leonard wood... in the mid 90's and was back on the team in less than 9 months... But that was when HRC was Running the White House from the Second Floor...
