A poignant and profound message, 1SG(P) (Join to see), that only our current POTUS could ignore.

I'll defer judgement on that. He hasn't pardoned him and I'll refrain from criticism on this topic unless he does. Deeds not words.

1SG(P) (Join to see), I believe that there are sufficient words and deeds to already to demonstrate poor judgment, at the very least regarding Bergdahl. He traded five Taliban stalwarts for Berghdal, and yet we have service members who suffered like Jimmy Hatch for Bergdahl who has stated that he wanted to "create an event.” To me, there are sufficient deeds already.
It's my fervent hope that Bergdahl is not pardoned, but I will not be surprised in the least if he does receive a Presidential pardon.

It's certainly a paradox that we should and do make every reasonable effort to recover our people, and yet Bergdahl the individual frankly isn't worthy of those efforts.

Powerful, timely stuff. We owe it to everyone on the mission that night as well as anyone who has ever served honorably to spread the letter far and wide. Look for the link in the story: ltr-to-the-office-of-the-president and paste it into your social media accounts.
