Since the Bush Admin started letting GITMO detainees be repatriated & then the Obama Admin...do you think the Trump Admin will do the same? I am a mixed bag of criticism on the program to be truthful

I have no idea, SGT (Join to see). I've simply heard too many stories where we let some of these bad actors loose, and not long after, they are doing the very same thing that got them in Guantanamo initially. I don't have any answers, but letting these guys out is certainly not one of them.

You have to wonder how many families have lost loved ones due to a flawed campaign promise.

If you detained me for over a decade without due process, I'd be salty too and since the life I had before detainment no longer existed it would be very easy to side with ISIS or any other terrorist organization. We created this problem. If GOP hadn't been so adamant about stonewalling Obama on everything, perhaps the detainees could have been transferred stateside for that due process and life imprisonment.
