Wow! Someone ought to take this story and frame its headline as one of the most egregious examples of journalistic ambush ever. I listened to the whole exchange and saw nothing to support any claim that Durbin and Sessions every questioned anyone's ability to count to three. Shame on those who create this crap.

So, let me get this straight, Cpt. If someone in your command violated a rule twice, you counseled them twice warning that person what would happen if he or she did it again, and they violated the rule one more time. You'd go to your superior and complain that the rule was unjustly targeting that person. You wouldn't go back to that person and admonish because they failed to understand that a violation was a violation and you warned that person what could happen if the violation was committed one more time.

SN (Join to see) - I am referring to the headline of the story only. It is written to foster the belief that Sessions is (as you say) condescending to blacks by saying that they can't count to three. That's not the story, is it, at least not in the video. Did I miss something in his testimony? Frankly, I have no idea of what you are talking about in your comment about my response.

The truth is that Senator Sessions has been a champion of minority rights including seeking the death penalty for murderers in the KKK, desegregation of schools in the South and ending unfair hiring practices regarding black people in his district. It is hypocritical for Democrats to call him racist when the Democrat Party invented Jim Crow Laws, the KKK, defended slavery and unanimously voted against the Civil Rights Act. With people like Sen. Byrd (grand dragon of KKK) to Bill Clinton who said not so long ago Obama would be fetching our coffee, DNC has no right to point fingers.
