Ethics paperwork still missing for Trump's billionaire Cabinet picks

Looking around RP, they don't believe he has issues in that department.

The swamp consists of many types of people: most of it or bureaucrats, then the politicians themselves the few are probably the cabinet members. Of the whole group, the cabinet members better know what they're doing or you have the inmates in charge of the asylum. Overall I believe Trump made some good picks... say what you will about them but they know how to run organizations. That is a big plus from the activists that are currently serving in these positions. Yes, I always like to say: Drain the swamp. But to do that you have to know the swamp. The ethics paperwork is the standard pwk required for any nominee for the confirmation process. Basically a disclosure form.

This is in line with previous administrations.

1/2 of the candidates have either not or fully filled out the forms and in some cases certain things not disclosed are coming to light giving the impression they are trying to hide something

As a far as the statistics- please clarify concerning this.

Maybe we can all agree to use the words “past practice” instead of “standard”, because really there is no standard for this, only past practice. It doesn’t say anywhere in our constitution that these forms need to be filled out, or who makes the forms. There are many different accounting practices… I dare say if standard accounting practices were required to be used in many of our government offices, we would have more people in jail because of the creative (some may say crooked ways) our government accounts its funding.

This leads me into the next question that wasn’t answered: Is the proposed administration changes proceeding on pace with former administrations? No one is answering this question. If so show me where the answer is, I want to see it… or is it just people who are dissatisfied with the election results truing to tears apart anything they can? It’s far easier to tear things down than to build things correctly in the first place.

I appreciate what you are saying. What I’m saying is the cabinet members need to have the knowledge of how everything works to effect any change, or the inmates will indeed be in charge asylum, and nothing will be changed…basically bureaucrats and hacks running amuck like we have now.

First the people selected for these positions have to know and understand the work or they can’t perform their jobs. Second if these people aren’t adequately performing their jobs they need to be thrown out.

I guess I’m saying we need to give them a chance to do their jobs just like we all gave BHO a chance to do his. If we don’t, then we’re just admitting people are trying to use this criteria to influence picks they don’t like.
