This week's CYBER WRAP has alot of great links in it. Most of the items have been media focus - but the two items at the bottom of the article...... have not. The attack on a hotel and what was done to it and the hack of the security cameras were both items that were just hacks - but items that some may want to file away because they hold a few thoughts well past what occurred.

The Cyber threat is really getting serious across the Board...

And briefly in news this week, reports that hotel guests in Austria were locked in or out of their rooms after hackers targeted the electronic room key system at a hotel in Austria were dismissed by the hotel owners. While they admitted their computer system was affected by ransomware, they were able to manually lock and unlock guest rooms. Ransomware also infected 70% of police security cameras in Washington DC a few days before the inauguration of President Trump. The malware meant the cameras were unable to record for three days in January, forcing authorities to take the system offline to remediate the infection...."....
