I don't believe that CNN has got "it". They are still the same unethical liberal scumbags, just with motivation to have to compete with other news sources.

One story does not make a newsroom. If they are softening, which I doubt, it is from an economics side and not a ethics epiphany. Over half the population of the US supports Trump on most every thing he has done. Those numbers are going up...right now. Who the hell knows what next week holds? Anyway, If all you do is bash Trump and you are known for that, when the political wind changes direction they start to lose readers, viewers, supporters, sales, and margins. Now add the thousands of new liberal news web pages started in the last 6 months. Conservative bashing is not paying the bills like it used to.

CNN has been showed that it has no issue throwing ethics out the window for political views and been caught being less that trust worthy to their viewers. Couple that with being in a White House "time out", where the Press Officer looks right past them and takes a question from a 13 kid doing pod cast from his mom's basement and they start to see their little propaganda machine crumble.

So if this is truly a softening it is only till the country shifts back the other way then it will be back tofake news all day everyday.

A mixed bag, a little pragmatism and a few gratuitous shots at Trump and the Republicans. Better than most of their biased tripe.

CNN has been and will always be a liberal Democrat Party mouthpiece. The Trump Administration has given them the middle finger in the same way Obama did to FOX News. I am glad I am not a shareholder in CNN.
