CPT Jack Durish That is great. Thing that always got me about the Navy was the number of people who joined without being able to swim. I couldn't believe it.

I know what you mean. I was always surprised when I taught SCUBA diving and people showed up who didn't know how to swim. "Swim? I don't want to go swimming. I want to go diving..."

CPT Jack Durish - At that point wouldn't you just call that sinking? Aside from the legality and insurance issues, I would say someone who can't swim, but wants SCUBA lessons should be given a waiver, weight belt, and a tank. Nature will sort the rest out.
