This is a great headline because it shows how far we've come. The fact that this bomber pilot is a female is just so normal, that it's not even newsworthy. Ditto for the last line in the story, where it says she has a wife and two children.

It's great news sir, I just don't think we have to point out her gender... it should always be merit based.
