This is long but I have long enjoyed this tune from Fairport Convention Album Full House released in 1970. This was the first album after incredible singer Sandy Denny left.
Sloth has a steady beat, mournful but hopeful lyrics, etc.

Sounds like the granddaddy of Grunge music !! Before loud distortion of Guitars and such were incorporated.
