As SGM Marquez says, the headline is misleading. However, any CCW holder should know that once the police show up, everyone with a gun has to be disarmed and even holding your legal firearm in a safe direction is provocative and may get you shot. Once the threat is neutralized, safe your weapon and lay it on the ground and cooperate with all police commands. Expect to lose your weapon, at least temporarily.

I still think we should send in the Illinois National Guard. They were good guys with me in Afghanistan and those of the guys with the cross patch on their uniform. Having the National Guard nationalizes City militarize it'll be the best thing I don't care what SEIU says.

You're welcome to read whatever you want from what he said, All I'm suggesting is it intellectually dishonest to claim he said something and try to form that as a discussion point, when what is cited to his is NOT what he actually said.
Why not just be honest about it pick something he did actually say some policy he did actually write an enforce and call him out for that

Nothing new there....happens in other parts of the country. Open, concealed, or not even on you. Open your gums the wrong way, wrong interpretation of movements, and even with camera footage, your ass is toast.

SSG Warren Swan - I agree with you on the terms of much like you stated. Anyone gets jerky while a weapon on their torso or any part is a spiraling path to disaster.
