I agree...If he was off duty (even if he was on duty) and pointed his weapon at someone he should have been arrested and that should have been the end of it. Procedure should have been that they call in the State Police to investigate just to get by any bias in the first place. No second investigation should have been allowed. Waste of taxpayers dollars.

He needed to go, pretty seriously. The good news is he resigned and is off the force. I agree that cops that commit crimes should have no special treatment. They do have the added layer of losing their job/career over something like this that most of the rest of us may not.
