I'm just thankful I'm now retired. The stupidity of the Army has seemed to evolve into something that even common sense can no longer fix. In a word Pathetic

Standards did change. That is a fact. I went through Infantry school relatively recently, and I never went anywhere with my FLIC/LBE and weapon without my helmet or body armor.

I can handle a few things. I have patrolled with females that could pull their weight.
Is the hair seriously not an issue?
My standard was hair can not be long enough to be grabbed despite what it states in AR 670-1
