He is absolutely a politician whether we like it or not. Where was taking the bull by the horns when he was first called to "serve". Donald trump can have a twitter...certain things should be faced with tact. Did Obama get everything right probably not...was everyone going to like him probably not...did he come under undue scrutiny because of his race and name? Why is that in this day and age? What can we do to fix it. If certain responsibilities lie with congress why are they not more active...why is there not more cooperation outside of party lines? What I feel we all need is for our "leaders" to take a look in the mirror and remeber who they work for and why they do it.

President Trump would have let PFC Manning rot in jail. President Kumbaya Obama thinks he's being a social justice hero hardening him when PFC Manning is no different than dr. Mengele except dr. Mengele on purpose wanted to kill and experiment on Jewish other victims while PFC Manning was just being an idiot druggie drunk suicidal Justice Warrior that shouldn't have passed basic training and now thousands upon thousands of Iraqis and Afghans are running to their lives or are now buried by their families because they helped Coalition forces. You ask why? The database of Secrets leaked gives their names and a grid coordinates so it's pretty easy for the enemy with the GPS to find out where the report was done. Social justice Warriors don't think of the consequences of what they think is doing the right thing. Some of those who fled for their lives are now in Western Europe or in Jordan or somewhere trying to get away from their past because they helped Coalition forces. I hope PFC Manning does kill himself at least now with his sex change he won't be recognized as easily as before.

Obama commuted the sentence on Manning - she wasn't pardoned. You're right Manning shouldn't have been allowed in but was let in and the leadership in his then S2 shop should have notified someone about his behaviors. But they didn't. No one in any S2 shop I had would have ever gotten away with how he got that material. I didn't even let my soldiers put DVDs into the SIPR computers.

I don't think the information he leaked affected thousands upon thousands of Iraqis helping CF from what I remember reading about it. Most of what he leaked were the diplomatic cables which weren't really anything. (Not all I said, most.).
