Anyone else work on these pigs? Fly them? When I first came in back in '84 these were still pulling duty along with our 15s and 16s. Nothing like the pollution trail left behind an F4 take off.

Hate to see these die off. Great airplane for its time and still could probably whoop some tail today with the right pilot. Thanks for the share.

All good and bad things eventually come to an end Maj Marty Hogan. For the record I consider the F-4 Phantom to be a good thing.

My primary mos was in avionics for the Phantoms.....later got a secondary for the A-6 Intruders. Never tired of watching those Phantoms kick in the afterburners on take off.
