Not surprised by these findings. Still can't comprehend how this could of happened unless the FITZ crew was completely negligent in their watch standing duties. Maximum punishment needs to be awarded to those responsible.

Regardless of what was going on, the DDG has much more maneuverability. Most telling is that they are not sure they called the CO to the bridge. Again, as I have said many times, we need professional LDO type Officers of the Deck, that that is there only job. Not as it is now, where it is a stepping stone to get one of many needed qualifications. SN Greg Wright

It was always going to be partially Fitz's fault. They were the give-way vessel, and did not give way. That said, the Crystal will also be found at fault, I think we'll find.

Or maybe a SWO academy of some sorts. We don't let pilots fly without almost two years of intense training, but a warship.....do this PQS and you're good to go. Make it difficult and strenuous, weed out the ones that can't hack it before they get to a ship.
