The President should be someone people can look too for moral guidance.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - I would have to not agree when we had a rapist in office with his pyscho wife, a Narcissist who weakened this country and made us a laughing stock to our enemies which we are now dealing with and a family (Bush) that though they owned the office. SO he insulted a GO, even you should know at teh GO level its all politics the very few good one retire and do good in the world some of the worst ones suck up and become politicians. As screwed ups as Trump is its sad that he is a breath of fresh air compared to the sewer swimmers that have been in office.

@SGT James Mullis Ok so if Trump's election was amusing, and felt like when the safety bar is lowered just before a roller coaster takes off, where does that fall on the Adams scale of hysteria?
I honestly believe that Trump was not quick to decry any one group because he is a business person. Business people do not look at people as people. They look at people as customers and potential revenue streams. You don't win customers by telling them how horrible they are.
I fully disagree that Trump is a moral leader. The President is representative of what it means to be an American. He may not have wanted it, asked for it, or even been qualified to be it, but it is in the job description. That is just my opinion, not a cold hard fact.
I have deeply personal reasons for wanting to kill every neo nazi, or white supremacist that have nothing to do with skin color. I wish that the MEDIA would stop putting these troglodytes on TV. You don't put out a fire by adding fuel, and you don't nullify supremacists by giving them air time.
Responding to Mr. Adams question as to which sounds the least crazy, none of them do. If Trump was a "Branding Expert" then we would be eating Trump steaks while flying Trump Airlines on our way to Trump University. He has had some success, but he has had a volume of failures that make me discount him as a branding expert.
Number two I discount because it would imply that Donald Trump thinks of anything but his own best interests. He would tear a group to the ground, or build a monument to that same group if it was in Trump's best interest. Morality has less to do with it than the bottom line
Three is invalid because Donald Trump has not changed. He speaks without thinking. He did it before he was running for President. He did it while he was running for President, and (surprise surprise) he is doing while he is President. He is CEO of his company. He has not had anyone that can say NO Bad Donald, stop what you are doing. Those who expect a leopard to change its spots will always come away disappointed. That is what the republican party got. A leopard who cannot, and does not want to change its spots.
As for number four, his opinion and rationalization is meaningless. He may not have volunteered to be a moral leader for the country, but it is what is expected of a President. Fair or not fair is irrelevant. If he didn't want that foisted upon him, he shouldn't have run for office.
As for the reaction, as I said I hate the Neo Nazis beyond their retarded backward thinking messaage, but it is hard to take them seriously when they are marching with tiki torches. Now the bastard who drove his car into the crowd should be labeled a terrorist, enemy combatant, and sent to Guantanamo Bay to hang out with the other detainees.
His final point I honestly think is the modern evolution of Fight or Flight. We no longer have to either kill, run, or be eaten. So instead of having that sense of shit just got real, the average person generates that response when their ideas or values are under attack. It is the only rational explanation I have for society attacking anyone with a differing opinion.

4 does not match the facts on the ground, I have been watching the psycho for over a decade I believe it is a toss up between 2 and 3.
