2 of my kids went to Charter School for a few years each. When we moved the public school district we moved into was horrible. The Charter school we found was a K-12, conservative in approach and taught American History. They did not teach towards test as that was not yet the rage - direction of Uncle Sam. The Federal Education Department (what an oxymoron) has, for the last 20 years, gone so far in its liberal mission of "no one fails" that schooling got left behind.

No, they aren't. In some places charter schools have completely failed their students, who do far worse than if they had attended a traditional public school. Another thing Prager gets wrong.
