Many years ago I complimented a young lady I worked with on her braids, basically completely clueless that it wasn't her real hair. She good naturedly laughed and told me it was a weave. Then I went home and told my then girl friend (now wife) the story and she laughed at me too. Apparently I was the only one who didn't know this. Lol.
