Canada almost had the production of the Avro Arrow succeed but it was cancelled in 1959. Canada's aviation industry was crippled but it's interesting that over 30 scientist left and went to NASA to help on the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo projects. It's how they say that there's always something good happens out of something bad. Some of the unemployed Aerospace workers helped put the men on the moon.

Thanks for making us aware LTC (Join to see) that long ago that Canada's aviation industry almost had the production of the Avro Arrow succeed. Of course almost only is useful in grenades and nuclear weapons :-)

LTC (Join to see) Looks kind of like the love child of the AV-8 and the F-111. Too bad it was cancelled, but I guess it was good for NASA.
