In the early years, up to the Kennedy Administration, the country, shielded our Presidents short comings from World scrutiny. In those years, we seemed to be more respected as a country. But now our leadership is treated like reality stars.

What's more disturbing is the rest of the interview by Bannon on 60 minutes. His rationale of how America came to be and who truly represents the American culture is disgusting.

One second he’s a nut job, the next he’s Political Savvy, I believe he’s a nut job, sometimes the insane appear to be very smart… as for Comey I believe firing him was one of the best things President Trump ever did. Comey is probably a symbol of everything that’s wrong in Washington: his overreach of power, even if his boss at the time wanted him to, is probably the worst decision he ever made. In the words of a man I admire: Comey is a legend in his own mind.
