2nd Amendment has become obsolete -- John Morgan

"Today the National Guard is considered our militia." Says who? Mr. Morgan needs to do a little reading, to understand the concept of militia, drawn from those of fighting age and ability, in the general populace.

"In the event of a military coup in our country, the idea that men with handguns could protect us from the military might of the Pentagon is laughable." Then why have insurgencies and asymmetrical conflicts gone on for years. Mr. Morgan needs to do a little reading of history.

I believe that the author has his head so far up his ass that he can check out his tonsils.

The first Amendment is obsolete as well. The thing is that the second Amendment was written when the Army had the most advanced weapons available, and was intended to be that way.
