A story from the U.K. Woman had some sort of brief relationship with a British soldier, after he rejected her she accused him of rape.
She ended up getting convicted and sentenced to 5 years in prison. Sounds like a light sentence to me. I've always thought that the sentence for being convicted of making a false accusation of rape should be the same as the sentence for being convicted of rape. Of course that will never happen because people say it would discourage victims from coming forward.

there has been multiple cases like this. filing a false report is usually the charge they get

Back in the day, WACS were raped by other roommates. One of the units' females was raped across from my room, I should of neutralize the perp. Things I did to him were what he deserved. No woman should go through a traumatic event like a rape. Hell NO.

But accusing another person on rape charges that's some serious court paperwork. She got she asked for.
