Sgt Wayne Wood As long as there is an audience that is willing to pay, they will continue to sell. I love all types of whiskey/whisky, but the barrels are a little out of my price range. I would love to try them though. Cheers.

Sam's Club sells Jack Daniels by the barrel. I guess if you have money to burn, why not.

LTC (Join to see) Little known fact: the number one purchaser of Jack Daniels single barrels is the US Military. Specifically AAFES and MWR for Morale!

Sometimes the way to make yourself stand out from the crowd is to price yourself into the "air" of exclusivity. Does anyone really think a production Rolls Royce Limousine cost of production is anything near the $400,000 difference in cost of a custom Cadillac limousine? The actual cost of high end finishes between the Rolls Royce and Cadillac production models is about $5,800.

But the intangible perception would allow the owner of the RR limo to charge a premium for his service the Caddy couldn’t match... human nature is what it is...
