Lets just forget the suckhole and never mention his name again. Plenty of guys have done worse with no jail and plenty have done way less with lots of jail time. The entire system is flawed.

No. Just no. The President is CinC. Him opening his mouth tainted any potential Jury Pool, not that it wasn’t already. He literally gave the Defense their appeal.

You can't hang this on the President. What is wrong with this country does he have to take the blame for everything. A lot of us agreed with him back then and agree with him now! He was a candidate and as far as I know they can still say anything they want while running for office.

I am speaking specifically about the post verdict/sentencing comments. He should have remained neutral as is required in his role as CinC. Regardless of whether he tainted the trial, he most definitely tainted any appeal.
