What happened in a Texas church is a terrible tragedy perpetrated by a sick and deranged individual who should have been prevented from purchasing and owning firearms at several different stages in his life. The Air Force dropped the ball big time by not entering him into a federal database after he was convicted of domestic abuse. Also the two men who shot at this perp and wounded him are heroes in my eyes as they quite possible prevented more death. I hope they get recognized for what they did.

SFC William Farrell the more that comes out about this shooter, the happier I am that he is dead. I just find myself hoping that those guys who shot at him hit him, and made him suffer through his last moments on Earth.

Though this is a horrific event, someone is getting the details wrong.
"The report says deputies were sent around midnight on June 17, 2013, to the New Braunfels, Texas, home of Kelley's family." Interesting that the Air Force contends that he was supposedly in confinement and still in the Air Force, and that he was discharged in 2014 (must have been in either January or early February).
If he was supposed to be in confinement; where was he confined at?
