On the bright side the Service member will survive and the poser is going to jail, but that's one hell of a way to catch a faker, and not the recommended way.

According to Thisainthell.us, he's not a poser, he was infantry for 18 months.
He's obviously got some issues, but lying about being an infantry PFC apparently isn't one of them.

SFC Eric Hedberg - not necessarily. I've had several troops who were dumber than a box of rocks. They always had crap wrong on their service uniform.

I really dislike posers. I don't think that Congress should never have changed the SV law. Anybody that poses as a military member or veteran should be charged with a crime.
