I agree with what he did and would have done the same but part of me does not want to let the guys get off free. But then I really do not know the details other than what we have read in the media and I don't trust those guys.

Why? If I go to China and am arrested because I am suspected of stealing something... I don't expect the US government to get involved unless I was there on official business. If I am convicted and sent to prison, I expect our government to do what they can to ensure I'm treated humanely, however I don't expect a get out of jail free card.

The President really had no choice in this matter. If true, the players are thieves and like it or not, representing America.
