Too bad we are not a Democracy. We live in a democratically elected representative Republic union of sovereign states. Back to High School Civics with her.

The whole reason for having a senate with only 2 reps per state and then a house which is based off of population is to keep one area of the country from running rough shod over the other. It all balances out in the end.
