There has never been a question about the president's authority to impose travel bans before. It was only a matter of time before the Supreme Court stepped in and told the lower courts that they couldn't just put a Nation Wide ban on anything that Trump signed.

From the beginning, this was a matter that the Supreme Court was having to decide. The issues raised such as statements made while Trump was a candidate, mind set, allowing groups such as universities to have standing, and issuing Nation Wide stays on a President's authority to regulate immigration has far reaching effects that would cover future Presidents.

This decision by SCOTUS sets aside the decision AND directives of BOTH. The 4th and 9th Circus under the proposal and that their decision is likely to fail when presented to the full court.

Good. They should have upheld it earlier. Other Presidents did a similar thing and never got questioned. Trump does the same thing and the Liberals lose their minds.

I believe it may have been his perceived "prejudice" towards Muslims that made it a problem!

SPC Andrew Griffin - I think it was his "prejudice" against Muslim extremists (which is a prejudice that should be shared by everybody in the country, including Muslims) along with his prejudice against countries that are so dysfunctional that we can't even be certain people from those countries are who they claim to be, let alone anything about their backgrounds.

Despite Hitler's parents being Catholic, Hitler was not Christian.
Why are so many of your posts error ridden? Do you research anything before posting it?

If you think the world views us differently simply because Trump is President, you must not have traveled throughout the world. In Europe, the East, the mid East, the Carribean, etc, you will find the same thing as it is here in the USA. There are people who love Trump and the USA and others who don't. It didn't change, just like for everyone who liked Obama, there was someone who didn't. Much of it for different reasons.

With all the knowledge about theocracies, how can you say being prejudiced against this Religion is Religious Bigotry. I say it’s safe guarding our people. People who what to come here need to prove they want to acclimate into our country. If not, you will doom us to Europe’s current fate.
