Violates their 5 amendment rights. Is this shit for real? What about the diabetic or asthmatic that couldn't enlist..where are their 5th amendment rights? Oh wait, are their medical standards that must be met in order to enlist? I guess for some and not others..

If DoD made a case of how permanent meds and pre-existing conditions requiring future medical care are a medical disqualification under current procurement standards of medical fitness, then this should be a non issue. Instead, it became a political issue because it was an outright ban on transgenders, per the President's executive order via Twitter. I personally don't care if transgenders are allowed to serve, just don't like the double standards on medical issues for political reasons.
