“The Christian leaders who have excused, ignored, or justified his unscrupulous behavior and his indecent rhetoric have only given credence to their critics who accuse them of hypocrisy.”

Nothing more need be added to this statement, both as to Moore and Trump.

SFC (Join to see) - in this case, it does have an answer. You either have reason to believe all of the witnesses are liars, or not.

Capt Gregory Prickett - Sir, Nothing could be further from the truth. You would wreck a person’s reputation because you have “a” reason? There could be other reasons, some of which might be of another opinion. What if someone said you were a rapist for a time you couldn’t account for… you would have to give up you license to practice law. Would that be right? If this is the way lawyers think, I am going to have to watch myself very carefully when around your profession. Birds of a feather you know.

SFC (Join to see) - I have no reason not to believe the women and the dozens of witnesses who have corroborated parts of the women's stories. I also have reasons to believe that Moore has been less than truthful in his response. In short, I believe the women.

I have plenty of company from the GOP side. General Sessions believes the women. Senator Shelby believes the women. Speaker Ryan finds the women credible. Over a dozen GOP senators believed the women.

It's a simple position on a simple question. You either believe them or you don't. They are either credible or they or not. They are either telling the truth or they are liars. It's really that simple.

Capt Gregory Prickett - It's good that you have everything figured out so well. I am happy for you. Me, I am a bit more suspicious, especially when I hear stories of people being sought out by political activists, who sometimes funnel money to some of these people. It will all come out in the wash, nothing is secret anymore… how does the old saying go? Follow the money. As for who to believe: I don’t believe anybody unless I can personally testify for something; the news used to do a pretty good job of digging out the truth, but they completely blew up any credibility they had during the President Obama and Secretary Clinton Administration, up to present times.

Yep. Exactly true. Proclaim that you're a Christian and then stand behind someone who is 700 degrees away from what you claim to stand for. Then whine and moan when people accuse you of being a hypocrite.

Meanwhile...let's loudly bleat that liberal politicians be fired for the same thing... This is why the world laughs at us.

Capt Gregory Prickett - Capt - I didnt say he was qualified for the job. Dislike Moore because he was twice removed from the bench for picking and choosing which part of the constitution he would follow. Dont vote for him if you disagree with his stance on abortion, homosexuality or economics.

I support 100% a persons choice to not vote for him based on policy or job performance.

But that is not what happened. This was a Salem Witch Trial over unsubstantiated claims that occurred over 30 years ago. That is my issue. This concept of weaponized social outrage that can be aimed at anyone one at any time with Zero facts to back it up. And that ALONE was what I had issue with - as my comment above showed.

(Join to see) - there were plenty of facts. You have the statements of nine victims. You have the corroborating statements of dozens of others. You have conflicting statements on his part, first he knew some of them, then he knew none of them. His attorney claimed that one of the women appeared before him in court--until court records showed that she did not. He made the statement that while he was in his 30s, he dated a teenager, but that it was OK because he had her mother's permission.

All of those are fact issues.
