Moore is not and has never been accused of being a pedophile.
Moore has been in politics well over 40 years. No one came forward during that time. WAPO reporters contacted one woman who refused to be interviewed. They persisted and she finally gave in. She said Moore tried to date her when he was in his 30s and she was 16. There was no evidence he dated her and there was no sexual contact.
Next came a number of women claiming similar things, again no evidence. Moore lost based on accusations. So what happens now to those women? The news media will treat them like yesterday's news. They won't work to prove the allegations or disprove them.
BTW, I was in High School in the 70s. Whether or not Moore tried to date girls in High School aside, it was fairly common for High School girls to date men in their 20s and 30s.
Now that the news media has achieved the desired result of winning an election that wasn't expected, you can expect this to happen more in the future.
Senator Chuck Schumer is now reporting that someone is falsely accusing him of Sexual Harrassment. It is only a matter of time before more people are similarly accused. After all, proof is not needed.
Do you see where the issue is when people can make accusations with no responsibility to prove the allegations and no repercussions.

I believe that NO ONE regardless of political affiliation wants a pedophile in office. Personally, I want pedophiles in prison. But I also know that the court of public opinion does not have the same rules of evidence as the justice system. In the absence of a law enforcement investigation concluded before election day, I think everyone needs to "weigh" the evidence for themselves.

I believe that there are people who will make false allegations, or convince others to make false accusations, as a political "dirty trick." I do not know if that is the case with Moore, or not the case.

I also believe that most Americans do not trust the media to leave their political bias "out of the print." Forty years ago, if it made it to the Huntley Brinkly News Hour, or Walter Cronkite...Yes I would assume the ^$^#* was guilty. Today... not so much.

I believe that if there are serious allegations with merit, that election to office should not be the end of the matter. If the investigation concludes that there is sufficient evidence to indict, indict and unseat. If the investigation concludes that it was a political "dirty trick" the person(s) making the false allegations should face potential criminal proceedings and civil liability.

Many of the things you are citing did not happen. A former police officer claimed a number of things such as Moore being banned from football games, hates blacks and Jews, etc. When questioned about corroborating witnesses, etc, she said there were none. She just believed it was so.
