Two terrible judicial nominees have been withdrawn after Sen. Chuck Grassley, chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, urged Trump to reconsider the names, as he did not feel as if they would be confirmed.
One, Brett Talley of Alabama, had never tried a case of any type. The other, Jeff Mateer of Texas, called transgender children part of "Satan's plan" and does not believe in the separation of church and state.
It each case, the senior senator from the states involved have expressed reservations about their suitability for the federal bench.
