How can Haley say this with a straight face?
“We want to help amplify the voices of the Iranian people,” said Haley, who appeared before cameras to recite the chants of protesters across Iran. She said Iran’s claim that other countries were fomenting the unrest was “complete nonsense,” describing the dissent as homegrown.
Iran's claim that other countries are "fomenting" unrest is exactly what the US is doing (right or wrong).
Foment: instigate or stir up (an undesirable or violent sentiment or course of action).
Some integrity up there would be nice.

well seeing as they are silencing their own people, this isn't the first time this has happened ("Under President Barack Obama, the U.S. took a more cautious approach during the last major wave of anti-government protests." (your article)), and the whole US throwing "full support" is an exaggeration..... I find this hard to believe....
