Hanoi Jane Fonda has dirty oil being pumped just down the street(At Hollywood High School and other pumpjacks) from her house and she says nothing.
Norway is able to subsidize much of its Social Services by its 1 trillion dollar trust fund that was earned from oil Revenue. The green divestment Knuckleheads aren't going to be successful in Norway and I doubt they will be successful in the United States and Canada. Canada subsidizes a lot of alternative energy. Coal and nuclear energy are not as cost-efficient as cheap Natural Gas that the knucklehead say causes global warming because of the hydrocarbons which is a bunch of bullcrap. We have the studies to prove that going all green will still cause global warming because we are in between ice ages but most scientists are like groupthink communist commissars and don't want to believe it because it goes against its Progressive anti-oil agenda. Ask dr. Judith Curry why she was run out of her field? She called BS on the climate change models and she was called a climate denier or heretic when she was the one who came up with climate change to begin with decades earlier.

We,may in the not so distant future be trying very desperately to try our hands at a little high speed global warming. The only reason we are here as we are is due to global warming. We are indeed between ice ages and are due for another in short order as these things go.
The potatoe famine which not only killed millions in Europe.. and indeed millions more around the northern hemisphere.. was caused by a several degree temperature drop caused by a large/lengthy volcanic eruption along the mid Atlantic ridge.. separating North America and Europe.. the location unfortunately was above sea level. Iceland. A similar phenomenon occurred after the eruption of Krakatoa..
Humans are reasonably well equipped to deal with temperature increases. We can modify crops to thrive most excellently in higher and dryer temps and climates. There a 100s of millions of acres of arable farmland... much of it in Canada.. which will become useful for cultivation in case of more warming..
I laugh to think how much credit we give ourselves for changing the earth's climate.. we talk in terms of tenths of degrees over many decades.. and even that is pretty much unsubstantiated.. yet a single pimple popped on the surface of the earth in the form of a volcanic eruption can cause a several degree temperature drop lasting for years..
