Kind of sounds like the NFL, Roger Goodell hands out the punishment and is the appeal review for those punishments. The only difference is the NFLPU signed off on it when they agreed to the contract.

This is wrong, how can a defendant expect a judge to be fair if they are judge, appellate and executioner.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel: I don't understand why the Supreme Court thinks they have the right to challenge military Judges.

SPC Margaret Higgins Normally they Wouldn't Challenge it, Wouldn't Touch it with a 10 Ft Pole but in this case We have a Very Unique Situation, When a Military (Reservist) Judge that handed down a Ruling Also Sits as a Civilian on the Military Review Panel, I Do Believe that there is a Conflict of Interest.

SPC Margaret Higgins - I don't understand why you would even question that the Supreme Court has not only the right, but the duty and the obligation to control lesser courts, which includes military courts and judges. The Constitution is crystal clear:

"The judicial Power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish."

Any court other than the Supreme Court is an inferior court, and subject to control by the Supreme Court.
