I have slowed down. When I was 16 years old, I could run those 8 laps in 11 minutes 15 seconds period in Army basic training, at age 31, I could run 8 laps in 12 minutes. Today, at age 55, it takes me just about 15 minutes to run the 8 laps.

We all slow down through the years. I used to run the 1.5 mile (6 laps) in the 9's when I was 21. For the past few years in my late 40's, I run the 1.5 mile in the 11's which isn't too bad I guess.

Amazing story, sir. LTC (Join to see) Every day you can rise and say you can finish those laps sounds like a good day to me. Keep up the great training!

Thank you for endorsing me! I actually work for a courier company and so much of my exercises just done during the day. If I actually train more and if I weren't so tired from my career job, I could probably cut it down my 2 mile time to 1430. The last time I ran that fast was in 2013. Thank you for your support and I know I have to go to Korea in a couple months and I know I have to take the PT test soon to go for that two weeks in the peninsula so I will be getting in shape soon for that two mile run and hopefully do better than 15 minutes!
