POST TIME: Fort Pierce base helped military train for D-Day

Born and raised in Fort Pierce, as a youngster used to hear all the adults from that era talk about the training conducted on the beaches in our hometown as well as rumors of equipment buried there by the military at the end of the war. SEAL/UDT Museum is a great visit, they just held their annual Purple Heart Cane Ceremony this past weekend while I was home visiting my family.

Stationed there from '99 - '02. Great spot with a great crew.

@ PO1 William PO1 William "Chip" Nagel Thanks for sharing back. in 2015, I visited Normandy. It was a touching moment, after I seen some of what these guys went through. It was proof that those were some tough and brave individuals.
